Here at Combat South we have 5 levels of NGRS upgrade available to be done at the point of purchase. From a minimal upgrade to all out, we feel that every level has its merit going from strength to strength. These upgrades have been a long work in progress for us with the guns being built to different specs for staff and players and firmly tested in the field to aim to get the best from your NGRS series, with price being a key factor throughout all the available levels of upgrade.
Upgrades are completed within a week to ten days from point of purchase, with all guns being tested at our lasered and level shooting range. The levels of upgrades are as follows….
Level 1:
M95 spring, modified standard piston: Simply brings the gun up to approx. 337fps 0.2g/301fps 0.25g/1.05J with better piston durability.
Range: 45-50m straight shot, 50-65m elevated shot using Blaster 0.25g bb’s*
Level 2:
M95 spring, modified standard piston: Simply brings the gun up to approx. 337fps 0.2g/266fps 0.32g/1.05J with better piston durability.
S-hop with custom hop arm and nub setup enables the gun to lift heavier weight bb’s more efficiently increasing range and accuracy (s-hopped recoil guns are setup and range tested on 0.32g bb’s)
Range: 60-65m straight shot, 65-75m elevated shot using Blaster 0.32g bb’s*
Level 3:

Ported Sorbo Pad for AOE correction and SHS Speed Motor. Lonex NGRS Reinforced Gears, FLT bushings, modified Prometheus Piston & Head to replace the weaker Marui piston, gears and bushings for increased durability at the higher ROF generated by the high-speed motor.
S-hop with custom hop arm and nub setup enables the gun to lift heavier weight bb’s more efficiently increasing range and accuracy (s-hopped recoil guns are setup and range tested on 0.32g bb’s)

*All range tests were conducted on a level, open playing field, both against and with a slight breeze. Temp approx. 19C. Hop on each gun was set to a flat trajectory with no over hop and using a human target. All guns have been tested on 7.4v 1450mah Nuprol lipo’s or 7.4v 2600mah Titan Power Li-ion Batteries. 11.1 lipos are not to be use in the NGRS series unless instructed by Combat South. All upgraded packages come with 6 months warranty. ASG Ultimate Gears, Prometheus piston and head to replace the weaker Marui gears & piston for increased durability & SHS Torque motor.
S-hop with custom hop arm and nub setup enables the gun to lift heavier weight bb’s more efficiently increasing range and accuracy (s-hopped recoil DMR’s are setup and range tested on 0.43g bb’s)

Range: 80m elevated shot using Geoff’s Super Precision 0.43g bb’s**

The Close Quarter Battle Receiver (CQBR) is a replacement upper receiver for the M4A1 Carbine, developed by the US Navy. The CQBR features a barrel 10.3 in (262 mm) in length, similar to the Colt Commando short-barreled M16 variants of the past. This shorter barrel makes the weapon significantly more compact, which makes it easier to use in and around vehicles and in tight confined spaces. Special units such as commandos boarding ships and bodyguards for senior officers have found such shortened weapons very useful and use the CQBR.
MK18 Mod 1: Similar to the changes found in the SOPMOD Block II kit, the Mod 1 features a gas block end without a front sight and a railed handguard that extends all the way to the base of the flash hider to provide more accessory rail space for the user
Airsoft Version:
Shoot & recoil engine loading: The weight imitating the bolt is activated at the same time as pulling the trigger and transmitted to the whole body.
Realistic bolt system, the rifle will stop firing after the last round is fired from the mag, reload mag and hit the bolt release to continue firing.
