CM.098 M110 DMR - E-EDITION ETU ESHOOTER, GEN-2 [CYMA PLATINUM]

The M110 rifle replica from the CYMA Platinum series is an electric AEG model replicating a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62 × 51 mm and designed for the DMR role. The CYMA Platinum M110 rifle replica features a GEN-2 V2 long gearbox, Kestrel V2LONG MOSFET/ETU and QSC quick spring change system, supporting fast mechanism operation, electronic control and easier adjustment of muzzle velocity.

M110 replica construction

The replica is made of aluminum and nylon. The nylon pistol grip complements the metal construction, while the adjustable stock pad allows its position to be adapted to the user's build and shooting position.

An ambidextrous QD sling attachment point is located on the stock, allowing the carrying configuration to be adjusted to the preferred side. The model is 1075 mm long and weighs ~3254 g without the magazine. An individual serial number is located on the lower receiver.

The handguard replicates the construction used on the firearm counterpart of the M110. A full-length RIS rail runs along its upper section and the upper receiver, allowing the installation of a riflescope.

The remaining RIS rail sections allow the replica to be equipped with additional accessories, including a bipod. A bipod helps stabilize the rifle when firing from a seated or prone position.

Sights and operation

The replica features folding mechanical sights consisting of a front sight and rear aperture sight. Folding them reduces obstruction of the field of view when using a mounted riflescope.

The ambidextrous fire selector facilitates operation for both right- and left-handed users. The model is configured for semi-automatic fire, matching its intended use as a DMR replica.

The functional bolt catch holds the mock bolt carrier in the rear position after the charging handle is pulled. This exposes the rotary hop-up chamber and facilitates adjustment of the pressure applied to the hop-up bucking. Pressing the bolt catch releases the mock bolt carrier, which moves forward and covers the chamber again.

Internal components and mechanics

The M110 rifle replica uses a GEN-2 V2 long gearbox equipped with steel SR25 gears and 8 mm steel ball bearings. The QSC quick spring change system allows the spring to be replaced without disassembling the entire gearbox.

The piston features a full steel tooth rack and an aluminum piston head. The pneumatic system includes an aluminum cylinder head, silent piston and cylinder heads, a full steel cylinder and a 24.28 mm Teflon nozzle. The steel spring guide is fitted with a bearing.

The mechanism is driven by a long neodymium high-torque motor designed to operate with the V2 long gearbox and steel SR25 gears.

The polymer rotary hop-up chamber allows the BB backspin to be adjusted.

The brass inner barrel has a diameter of 6.03 mm and a length of 510 mm.

Electronic system

The Kestrel V2LONG MOSFET/ETU electronically controls the operation of the replica. The wiring is terminated with a T-connect plug, while the battery compartment is located inside the stock.

Muzzle velocity

The factory muzzle velocity of the replica is ~490 FPS. A muzzle velocity adjustment service is available for the Medium configuration at ~350 FPS or the Low configuration at ~310-320 FPS, allowing the replica to be adapted to the limits applicable at the selected airsoft field.
